It is so easy to become depressed in this world

I live on the land, but I cannot own anything on it.

I think my dream job is to be a sheep farmer, so I can have a little bit of the earth that is just mine

But, it's also a good thing to recognise when you could have more, it means I have freedom to think, and the knowledge to know that there is more to life.

Also, quick idea for an english assignment I might write later: The human restlessness in stability, might elaborate on this later, who knows

Feb 4th

been sooooo busy with extracurriculars, my academics are kinda suffering. I'm three lessons behind in 2 classes :O

But on a good note,I presented a major proposal to over 80 people yesterday, and people came up to me afterward and told me how good it was!!! :3

I had one english quiz today that I'm 100% sure that I lost a mark on, but thats okay

I also took a psychology class and I'm really liking it so far!! also it's easier than the rest of my math/science filled schedule but thats just a added benefit...

Physics is going good, kinda, my physics teacher is an ex engineer and is kinda scary but whatever...

ANYWAYS that enough yap for today

I've been doing some thinking (rare ik), of how to be better, and here is my conclusion: Instead of trying to be better than others, I think that we should all just try to be better than we were yesterday.

We only see the parts of people that they want us to see, but we see the entirely of ourselves. The good, the bad, the hardwork and the bad days. So hold yourself to your own standard. Because you see the whole picture, you understand yourself. You know everything you're doing.

So instead of holding yourself to the impossible standards you see of other people, just try to be a bit better than you were yesterday. You'll imrpove if you take it one step at a time.

I think I'll try to do that from now on, and I hope that you guys can take my advice too.

Got a bad grade today, feel like all my work went down the drain, and I won't get into the progams I want. Well, theres nothing I can do but work harder next semester. I just wish my teachers were a bit nicer when they gave me my marks back? Obviously I was distressed seeing a number I didn't like, and all they wanted was for me to get out of their room asap. I've never gotten exam marks that bad before, even I was surprised at the mistakes I made. Now I don't even feel like finishing my applications.

Anyways, no point in sulking, theres nothing we can do but learn from our mistakes and try harder next time.
